Park Management
Salonga National Park is under the sovereign management of ICCN. Since 2015 ICCN and WWF manage it jointly. The work of ICCN and WWF under this agreement is guided by the national park’s management plan (2016 - 2025). The mixed management team of the park (UGPNS) leads the implementation of the activities.
The Congolese Institute for the Conservation of Nature (ICCN) is responsible for the management of the protected area network in DRC. ICCN is a public agency subordinated to the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development.
